PURPOSE CHURCH TEAMS

Communion Team:  This team serves behind the scenes to prepare both the elements and the environment for Communion during our Wednesday and Sunday Communion services.

Community Outreach Team:  This team is involved in countless ministries with a focus on bringing God’s love to our communities and world.

Igniter Team:  As the official hosts of our Igniter initial orientation, this team greets guests as well as provides materials and assistance throughout our four classes. 

Prison Team:  This team carries the love and Gospel of Jesus to those in area prisons and correctional facilities.

Purpose Groups Leadership Team: We believe that real life change takes place in the context of relationships. As a Small Group Leader, you have the greatest opportunity to connect with others, fulfill your passions, develop your gifts and live out the Great Commission.

Prayer Team:  This team of trained intercessors covers the weekend and midweek services in prayer, preparing the way for the Lord.

Worship Team: The Worship Team leads the congregation in worship through song and music. They lead the in-person and online congregations in song, liturgical dance, and worship arts. The Worship team will be led by the Director of Worship.

Communication (Super) Team: This team oversees all aspects of communication. The Communication Team will be led by a Director of Communication. This team encompasses all the teams below:

Social Media: This team connects and encourages through our social media platforms. They create posts and comment on all of our social media content. They also encourage, pray for, and build relationships with those who attend Church online.

Media Team: This team creates video content, social media, and all non-live aspects of media.

Graphics & Marketing Team: This team covers messaging, graphics, signs, printing and style guides for the whole church 

Announcements Team: This team ensures that all announcements are collected, curated and distributed in the appropriate means.

Media & Production (Super) Team: This team oversees all aspects of digital arts. The Media and Production Team will be led by a Director of Media & Production. This team encompasses all the teams below:

Production Team: This team covers all live aspects of engagement, including worship production, Zoom meetings, and remote broadcasts.

Setup/Takedown Team: This team facilitates the Purpose experience at our portable or temporary locations by setting up before service and taking down after service.

Facilities Team:  This team works diligently behind the scenes to maintain a spirit of excellence in our facilities. This includes, cleaning, maintenance, repairs, landscaping

Experience (Super) Team: This team ensures that all attenders experience a 5-star environment, from a warm welcome to ensuring the right temperature. This team covers greeters, concierge, ushers, and interior designers. This team also ensures special guest are covered from start to finish. The team is led by a Director of Experience. This team encompasses all the teams below:

Hospitality: This energetic team connects with guests by offering a hot cup of coffee and a warm welcome.

Concierge:  This team connects guests to the Church community, providing resources and information on all of our current events, ministry opportunities and services at Purpose.

Greeters:  This team fosters a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting attenders to a seat, facilitating the offering and maintaining a distraction-free environment.

VIP Team:  This team is the first team new partners experience. They are responsible to ensure that new partners are connected with, communicated with and feel a part of our church. 

Safety & Parking Team: The Safety and Parking Team covers security, emergency preparedness, medical and parking. The team is led by a Director of Safety & Parking. 

The “A” Team (Administration) Team: The Administration Team covers all the administration aspects of the church, including systems, communications, announcements, compliance, finance, and human resources. The team is led by a Director of Administration. This team oversees all the teams below:

*Purpose Haven Team (Special Needs):  This team serves guests with special needs, providing intentional one-on-one care, ministry and development.

 Purpose Youth (Super) Team:  This team creates an environment where youth are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus.  They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through worship, videos, skits, small groups, greeting, games and more. This team encompasses all the teams below:

*Kids Check-in:  This team welcomes families as they arrive at our Purpose Kids areas and facilitates the check-in process that ensures children are cared for effectively and efficiently.

*Purpose Students:  Join the team that is building the next generation, one dynamic worship experience, relevant Small Group, impactful retreat, and life-changing mission trip at a time!

Executive Team: The Executive Team is made up of the Pastor, First Lady, The Vice-chair of the Board of Trustees, Chief of Staff, and all Directors of teams. The Executive Team is led by the Chief of Staff and is the general planning body of the church.

Board of Trustees: The Board of Trustees covers the general governance of the church. The Board covers strategic planning, budget, fundraising, and oversight. The senior pastor is the ex-officio chair of the board and is functionally led by the vice-chair.
